No he didn't. Lowest average FB in any start was his last one at 90.5 and his average FB last year was 91.6. Yeah it's down, but not so far that he can't still be productive. It's possible he's done, but think taking a chance on him for only $17 million is a pretty good bet - especially when if he bounces back you get another reasonably priced year.

Seems like the race for the #1 pick in 2021 comes down to Detroit, Baltimore, decent gap... maybe Seattle? Maybe KC?

I cannot wait for this season to start. Tigers quest to bag the #1 pick 3 out of 4 years is live and well. Makes it that much sicker that the one year we don’t pick #1, we still got the best player in the draft #RileyGreene

He had a good year with Atlanta in 04. But you're right, after leaving the Marlins, he was mostly very mediocre. Finally hung em up after a 5.44 ERA with the Phillies in 07
