Brett Lawrie released! MLB Offseason 2016

I wonder if that means they intend for Moncada to be on the Opening Day rooster.

Upon further investigation it looks like it he won't be called up until some time in May at the earliest for service time reasons

I'm thinking this had more to do with their plans to trade Todd Frazier, but ultimately they couldn't find a deal so they're going to save it for the deadline. With Frazier around there's less need for lawrie.

Especially in light of price Boston has to be the most overrated team and it's not close

Sale is going to get trucked this year

Astros starting pitching is incredibly shaky. They're praying for a couple youngsters to have big years. McCullers has to stay healthy, Musgrove has to keep the good stuff going he had last year, Devenski may be an option too. Keuchel may have been figured out by batters, just laying off pitches because they know they'll move out of the zone. Mchugh, Fiers, and Charlie Morton(lol) are all meh. The offense is great and the defense is good, but the Astros are the most overrated and may **** the bed big time.

The Nats are easily the most overrated. Their offense is overrated outside of about 2 spots in the order and their pen is full of guys who could pitch to 2 or 6 ERAs. I could see them winning 100 games or 84 to be honest. IMO if they do not win the season series from the Mets at least 11-8 they will not win the division.
