To me the thing that's so great about the HR is how instantaneous it is. Take that Galarraga grand slam. One instant there's a pitch on the way, the next you know theres. 4 runs on the board even though the ball isn't out of the infield. And the POWER element of driving the ball. As Mr. Slave would say, "ooooh, Jesus Christ!"
