OK same rules as last time, unless the consensus is combined ones do not count. There is a good chance of multiple no-nos in May. I wouldn't mind bumping the entry price down, to see if more people want in, or more people want to pay for multiple slots. Maybe not this round, but the next.
Quote:
$25. The team that pitches the no-hitter receives 2/3 the pool and the team that has no hits receives 1/3 of the pool. The teams will be randomly assigned.
If we get 30 entrants, one team per entrant. 15 entrants, two teams per entrant. 10 entrants three teams, and so on. If it is an odd number, multiple entries would be allowed to make the distribution correct.
Some tidbits. There were four no-nos in May last year. None of them were combined. There have been a couple close calls with Dbacks going deep in games being no-hit. Kershaw got pulled being perfect, Rays had a no-hitter through 9 but couldn't score any runs. There has only been one complete game so far this year and only one no-hitter. We may not get as many entrants this time around, so maybe 3 teams per entry. Another no-no is probably right around the corner so hopefully we can get this going some time next week.
