Counsell is an idiot. He should have rode that wagon til the wheels fell off. Big picture- the bp can't carry the team through the WS like this.

Actually, they are revolutionizing pitching as we know it.

I do think Miley should have been left in longer in game 2, but generally, the starters start getting rocked the third time through the order.

Don't pull Soria unless he gives up two baserunners..... if he does let Hader close out the remainder of the 8th and then the 9th....

If Soria gets through the 8th clean, let Jeffress pitch the 9th until he gives up two runners and if he does then let Hader close it out.

Can I haz the Brewers managing job???

Hader didn't go the 9th because Counsell wants him available tomorrow. Even if he's somehow not available, the threat of him being available changes how the Dodgers do things.

I had no problem bringing Jeffress in with a 4-run lead. He's been awesome all year. Yeah, he's struggled in the playoffs, but they need him if they want to win the whole thing. His stuff actually looked great - he just had trouble locating for a couple batters. He's also had some rough luck with 3-4 lucky base hits. The homer to Turner and double to Machado were grooved, though.

I know it seems weird to take out Chacin when he was pitching well, but his stats aren't good the third time through the order. Look how great Buehler was until he wasn't.
