Fangraphs contract estimates have missed really low so far

Semien got 7/175 instead of 4/120

Gausmann 5/110 instead of 3/54 (wtf)

Gravemann 3/24 instead of 1/7

DeSclafani 3/36 instead of 2/20

Why am I thinking it is weird that teams more than usual right before the lockout, while it is the players having to rush and get something done by the end of the month. Players can't sign during the lockout it seems like the owners/gms could put the screws to them in these last days.

No idea who will pick up Correa after Seager getting that contract that he will want matched. He may have to drop his head and take a short term contract with the Stros. Angels, Tigers, mycubbies?

Crazy thing is I don't think Story has had the lingering health issues like Korea and Seager. I don't follow the meaningless Rox so I may be wrong, but it looks like he is 90% of games.

Story’s more reliable sure but he’s also worse at every aspect of baseball and is 2 years older

I like story fine but I’ve never understood why he was considered a hyperelite free agent especially considering his stats are inflated by coors and he still hasn’t been that good the last couple years. If he signs before correa it’ll be cuz a team got scared by the correa bidding war and settled on story thinking them overpaying him but still paying less than correa is a bargain

If correa signs before him he’s screwed and I’d be stunned if it was longer than a year at a decent AAV
