Not taking Dusty's word on anything. Didn't watch the game, but Cranky and Devo got rocked. Not looking good. Bet their season unders if you can find it. They don't have any pitching. I wouldn't mind them trying to get something for Springer before the trade deadline.
Rocked more or less hard than a trash can cover in the Astros clubhouse circa 2017?
I'm assuming that means 50 games per team, but if they cancel the whole ****ing thing right now, which frankly..., I think there have been 45 total played?
So where do we go from here? Marlins def aren't playing, which means BAL obv isn't either. PHI/NYY not happening tonight, and probably won't happen tomorrow or Wednesday either if PHI needs to get 2 negative covid tests in 48 hrs (right? or no?). Only choice to make up three games would be at the end of the year, which will push back playoffs now that there's an extra round to play. If that's even doable, there's the issue of having only those 4 teams (BAL/MIA are pretty useless, probably just forget those three games) play while everyone else has offdays leading in to the postseason.
If MIA has 1/3 of their team with COVID, do they even continue? If one team opts out, they need to re-do the schedule or they just forfeit a bunch of games? Massive integrity breach if any team that should be playing the Marlins gets free 9-0 forfeit wins, which again, has major playoff implications if .500 teams are going to be sneaking in now.
