Pujols passed Ichiro on the all time hit list today. Both 2001 rookies.

Come on Angels not named Mike Trout

Mike Trout has also walked 11 times this season, and struck out 3 times. That's some Barry Bonds **** right there.

Few people know this but Mike Trout led the AL in strikeouts in 2014, but he was also the best player in the league and won the MVP so no one cared.

The contrast between the Cubs and wsox attendance at a monday day game clearly shows southsiders are more productive members of society.

Probably has more to do with it being the Cubs home opener.

It's a well known fact that 85% of the people work for a living and the other 15 mfers go to Cubs games

Lee Elia will tell you all about it!

**** the cubs and all that, but that swig of OJ taken by maddon was top notch

In my younger days I really wanted a shirt that said "Wrigley Field: A playground for c---s------"

I think I got banned last time I posted my t-shirt about Wrigley.

I think elia tape isn't more popular because sportscenter would only be able to play one long bleep.
The hal McRae, playoffs?, and crown their ass are probably played weekly.

Here are the longest position player hitless streaks in baseball history:

Eugenio Velez, 2010-11: 0 for 46
Bill Bergen, 1909: 0 for 45
Dave Campbell, 1973: 0 for 45
Craig Counsell, 2011: 0 for 45
Chris Davis, 2018-19: 0 for 44
It appears hard to get a blooper, a broken bat single, a squibber infield single off the end of the bat, or just blindly swinging and accidentally barrelling up the ball on some law of averages thing..

Unless I am reading it wrong his OPS+ is -53... lol

Davis 0 for 5 in a game where the ****ing orioles scored 12 and had 15 hits. O's are on the road in Boston this weekend, I hope he gets his first hit there and the bosox fans cheer long and loud enough that he has to acknowledge them somehow. Curtain call or hat tip like.

Total feeding frenzy smorgasbord for the O's in the 9th (5 runs scored). Ended the only way it could, with a Chris Davis AB that resulted in a K.
