Speaking of whom, Stanton was a 4 WAR player last year, and an 8WAR player the year before. Can we maybe tone down the yankees fanning just a touch?

BTW, 1996 Yankees WS MVP John Wetteland confirmed toned down and touched with a little kid.

yeah.. Brantley ain't coming back. The reinforcements will be Lindor and Kipnis

the bullpen is weaker, too. Tribe will be an interesting team to follow this year.

The K-zone is laughably small, and umps are squeezing the zone smaller. The top of it is at about the belly of the average-height hitter, when it should be at the numbers.

maybe so, but the pendulum has swung too far the other way

I could be way off and yeah I think both signings were fairly team friendly but just seems like they already have a ton of money on the books.

I genuinely think the next CBA(I don't really know what's involved in the negotiations) should have a clause that if a pitcher is 6+ innings into a nono or perfect or even some crazy K record, they get to make the call on when they come out of the game. When a pitcher is feeling it LEAVE THEM THE **** IN. It is an awesome feeling when you are locked in, in any sport, let them ride it for the entertainment value which is why fans are paying you monies.

Again, you are in the entertainment biz give fans some nono sweat entertainment. Make it mandatory.

Not a horrible argument, but I still don't think it is a problem. It does give the idea to pitch a pokemen go night to the local A ball team, if that is still a thing if Hillary didn't kill it.
