This edition of "when homer picks go wrong" is brought to you by Dustin Pedroia, who finished with a scant 46 runs on the year. It's okay, I know the feeling... if my guys DID get there and I didn't pick them, then I'd feel like I missed out. Also known as, basically, all of my 2016 NFL PEEHS entry when the Falcons were awesome.

Our next incorrect is a guy I found frustrating to own in fantasy. You look at the career numbers for Matt Carpenter, and his 2017 season is basically in line with what he's always done. But week to week, I was hoping for more and left disappointed. Anyway, he finished with 91 runs. Only a .241 average, but a respectable .835 OPS.

Our next corrects are a pair of 4-point answers. Despite being a graduate of That Technical School for Losers, Charlie Blackmon is your MLB leader in runs scored, with a high OBP and some thump behind him in the batting order. He finished with 137 runs, 9 clear of 2nd place.

Our next correct is worth 3 points. Nolan Arenado is as steady a run-producer in the game the past few years, and he finished with 100 on the nose.

Also worth 2 points is Springer's teammate, the pint-sized wunderkid Jose Altuve. He also finished with 112 runs, in another MVP-caliber year.

Question 20 closes with 2 aces. Paul Goldschmidt had another MVP caliber year, a true 5 category stud in fantasy. He finished 4th in MLB with 117 runs.

Our final ace is a bit of a facemelter, but less so if you bought into his power surge in the 2nd half of last year. The Twins opted not to trade Brian Dozier, either last offseason or at the deadline, and then he homers on the first at bat in the wild card game. He finished with 106 runs for the surprising Twins squad.
