Simple , giving 2 chances per possession , due to rebound of Rodman , for scoring to a guy lik MJ is far more valuable than to another less reliable player .
Both players go up in value simultaneously.

It kind like value hands in poker gains more value by mixing some bluff into it , increasing the value of bluff as well .

But Rodman not surrounded by great scoring players wouldn’t be as efficient .

Also MJ-stans make it sound like Lebron played with peak versions of Kyrie, Wade and AD at the same time for 8 seasons or something. Lebron had healthy Wade for 3 playoff runs, healthy AD for one playoff run and healthy Kyrie for 2 playoff runs. Lebron made the Finals all 6 times and won 4 titles in that span.

MJ had healthy Pippen for 8 playoff runs, made 6 Finals and won 6 titles. And Horace Grant for 4 of those playoff runs (avg playoff BPM 3.2) and Kukoc for the other 4 (avg playoff BPM 3.9). And the rest of the supporting cast after the top-3 or so was far superior for MJ's Bulls. I mean having Ron Harper as your 5th guy after 4 HOFs is just the Warriors 2017 level of ridiculousness. It's like having Iguodala as your 5th best player.

Don't follow hoops closely these days, but it seems to me that he's just not very likeable. Plenty of old-timers had their flaws for sure, but at least they had some charisma, and a bit of respect for their teams and the game. LeBrand just seems like a dumb, self-absorbed jerk who cries and takes his ball home if he loses, not uncommon in sports. Grow a brain, Lebrawn, there's more to personality/charisma than tattoos and a headband .

LeBron giving up on key plays is kind of a disgrace. Not a legacy ruiner since anyone with a bit of brain matter didn’t have him as number 1 anyway. I dunno where this puts him in the top 5 though. His peak was never as high as Jordan. Probably not gonna catch him in rings even though he’s already played way more years. His only argument in the GOAT debate is longevity and Kareem currently has him solidly beat there.
