Lebron will host the decision, or choke in the finals vrs dallas and talk about how ****ty other peoples lives are and how they are waking up so said ****ty lives--which was he points out and/or implys, doesn't bother him at all. Jordans never been in a position like that, but I imagine he would give the other team no credit whatsoever in the presser, go get drunk, bang some prostitutes, and bet 100k a hand in blackjack. Despite being a bad husband and morally bankrupt at times, Jordan's alpha mystique on and off the court is something that cant be touched by lebron.

Not saying this goes into my decision of who is the GOAT. Like many others, I think MJ is the clear GOAT right now but bron has non-negligible equity. Like i mentioned earlier however, I think its human nature for some people to judge these guys based on their personality traits.
You're underrating how big of an impact winning has on general public perception. If Lebron wins a bunch of titles people will be gushing about how nice of a guy Lebron was, that he was a great teammate, etc. You can already find articles after last year's finals praising him for his style of leadership and all that bs.

Imagine the internet being around in the late 80s- casual fans would be 100% convinced that Bird/Magic > MJ because they played better team basketball and knew how to win games. And how pissed off would the stat guys gets when causal fans started saying that Isiah Thomas > MJ after his team won 2 titles while dominating the Bulls along the way? MJ overcame this and convinced everyone that he was the GOAT.
Great post.

Yeah but dont you remember how much of a BADASS Bill Lambeer was? And also there was Jordan! Jordan had to play in an era that had JORDAN, the GOAT. Lebron never had to do that!

Imagine if Lebron who had a 28 PER in his 3rd year in the NBA, went to any decent college. Not sure he would have lost his last 2 years in college the way he was playing at the NBA level.

This is cool:

Year 0 (before he got there)-27-55
Year 1 38-44 (lost 3-1 to the bucks in R1)
Year 2 30-52 (Swept by the Celtics in R1, MJ hurt most of the year)
BTW, this is the record for worst record to make the playoffs.

From this thread, basically if your opinion is that Jordan is the GOAT you are an idiot, but if you think Lebron is, then it's a great post/opinion. Got it.

i'm trying to figure out what's going on with LeBron, apparently if he's "bleating" that's a problem

from "Recognizing a Sick Goat":

Quote:
Goats, when content and in good health, are usually quiet creatures of habit, full of energy, playful, curious, rambunctious as well as mischievous. It’s not often that you will hear a goat bleating (crying) for no apparent reason, and if you do, it most often signals that something is wrong. There are exceptions to the rule - some goats are prone to making various moaning and groaning noises which are not considered bleating, and under most circumstances, signify that they are somewhat content.

MJ is clearly better than Lebron because Lebron's team is losing right now and MJ's team never lost a game ever.

The criticism is Lebron had 2 points before the game was effectively over.
