What is your 2013 projection for Trout? I'm happy with a simple fWAR number.

Also, Trout could be out-earning Longoria in '15/'16.

looks like zips has him as a current ~5.5 war player over a full season. that works for me. of course trout should only get better for the next 6 seasons while longo is likely about to start declining.

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe trout won't be a free agent until 2018? two years covers a lot of value imo.

but yeah i suppose it could still be longo. that contract is so ridiculous.

edit: meant after 2018.

he's got a .410 babip. yes he's fast but that is still very likely to come down. if he's a true talent 10 war player at 21 then you are likely looking at the greatest player of all time. he's awesome but i think it might be a little early to declare him the goat.

also don't you have some dbacks pitchers to jinx

I'd love to see what kind of stuff some of those pitchers were throwing late in games.

edit- and that was with almost 2400 less games played in 1922. OMG.
