Marco tragically died this morning on lap 2 of the Malaysian motogp race he was involved in a collision with colin edwards and valentino rossi RIP Marco my thoughts go to your family

I don't think I have ever felt this bad about a sportsman's death. Absolutely tragic and you have to feel for Rossi and Edwards to.

I just watched it once. You can see what's coming and I was like 'no no no no no' and then it happens. Just a horrible incident.

So gutted right now, I loved watching him race and he looked liked he was going places in moto gp, now we will never know how good he would of been he will be sorely missed.

The actual crash is brutal. His Helmet coming off and the body just lies motionless

He was a special rider. Feel sorry for the family also for Rossi and Edwards. I think Rossi might retire after this. But there was really nothing he could do about it, more than he did. He almost avoided the collision which resulted in the death of his close friend.

that is absolutely heartbreaking....i've followed motoGP for the past few years and marco was an awesome part of the tour.

always exciting and a great personality, he will be greatly missed.
