why wouldnt he be lawyered up? seems smart to me, even if the lawyer is there just to make sure theres no a/v recording.

What's the potential liability here? He's not under oath or in the middle of a criminal investigation or anything. Why the lawyer? It doesn't seem like things can go too badly here.

It's not like his draft stock isn't going to drop because he got tripped up on a technicality; teams are going to pull the trigger on him or not pull the trigger on him based on their overall evaluation, and the NFL teams interested in him are going to investigate and interview the **** out of him anyway.

ESPN most certainly the friendliest place for T'eo to go. Totally in bed with NCAA and NFL and will certainly do what they can to assist, within reason.

i realize hes not testifying or anything legal, but it cant hurt to have your attorney present.
