Yep, really don't see how he has no culpability now. he knows what questions are going to be asked of him and he does not have the answers so now he's just hiding hoping that it will go away.

It's not an issue of rumors or anything, it's just that it's really the only motivation for this that would make any sense at all.

The problem is no motivations for this really make sense. Even the gay one or the publicity angles, which are the most prevalent, have huge logic holes.

Money came in after Kekua's 'death' and hopefully went to worthwhile causes. Whether any money went directly to 'the family', either before or after Sept. 12th is unknown to me. It wouldn't surprise me at all if money was the primary objective of this whole scam (much more so then the gay angle).

The only motivation I can possibly see for him to do this is to get intimate with guys he is attracted to.

If this has been going on 4 years, he started the relationship/hoax before Te'o was nationally famous, and would have no idea he would become such a big name.
