Agreed. Why I'd totally be like w/e if's he's just gay and came out.

Also, the more I think about it, the less likely it is that Te'o and Tuiasosopo were covering for a homosexual relationship, because in that case it makes no sense to kill her.
If he thought more people would wanna know who she is, it does make sense. I remember an ESPN piece on RG3 and his girlfriend from mid-season and ND was prepped to start a Heisman campaign.

Not sure why people are mad at Te'o. Tim Tebow spent every year of his career in a relationship with a made-up person who died tragically.

Or that he got involved with a girl he never met from Palo Alto who faked her own death and used this girl's pictures to say who she was. Then, it's just lying about meeting her and everything else being a hoax on him.
Then again, are there shots of his locker with a picture of her? This would be standard, even if not his choice, but in ND, NBC, and ESPN's interest.

this thing is. Kudos to deadspin, major kudos. Jesus, how does literally no other news source in the country find this **** out? There's a legit chance that minus deadspin, nobody would have ever known. wtf.

It really didn't occur to anyone "hey, let's go get us some b roll of this other funeral that would make for a sweet story"
or was his attendance of the funeral not a thing? I'm just going by the t-rob grandmother funeral last year, that footage was all over ESPN they couldnt get enough of it
This whole thing is so ****ed up
ESPN, the Chicago media, NBC, SI, and Deadspin all tried to find people who knew the girl. Deadspin was the only one who said, "well then, let's not find her by name, but by face since we have a picture." And voila!
