Here's the problem I have with the line of questioning: it's all trying to make sense of the timeline. Every question and every answer is simply a rehashing of events.

...if she existed to him, I guess I'd expect the nature of his answers to be different. I haven't seen or heard an answer about what it was like to not be able to see her in the hospital, or what they shared, talked about, etc.

If it really went down this way, good Lord, what an amazing, happy coincidence for SE that this elaborate years-long catfish hoax which required hours and hours of involvement by 3 people, happened to fall on a star player on an incredibly lucky Notre Dame team that somehow got to the MNC game...AND oh yeah he bought it hook line and sinker.
