I honestly believe that Manti is gay. Lets pretend he says "yes im a ****". There will be alot of NFL teams that would pass on him. Just my guess but i do not think NFL players would want an openly gay guy on the team. This would effect his draft pick status, maybe falling to the 2nd or 3rd rounds and not making as much money.

Strange as it may sound, the entire "Te'o is gay" hypothesis actually comes across as less likely now that I've heard these voicemails and learned that the speaker was reportedly Tuiasosopo in disguise. I finally heard the recordings (thanks to the link above). Those voices do not sound at all like an effeminate man, they sound like a woman. So if Te'o was truly attracted to whatever he heard on the other side, he was attracted to a woman. That we have since discovered the voice belonging to a man is irrelevant: in Te'o's head, he was talking to a female. So to me, it suggests he prefers women.
