To me this video proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the guy was lying and basically just got caught up in his own web of lies. Probably started out as a way to protect his secret of being gay, and it morphed into a way to get massive publicity for his Heisman run.

I think it would be extremely hard for a guy to pull off a girls voice. It is much easier for a girl to do a guys voice. Either a girl was in on the prank, the one dude is gay and took a bunch of hormone pills, or Teo is a liar. Think we all agree the last is the most likely.

I read that in these catfish situations it's not uncommon for the Internet "boyfriend" to be a girl who sounds like a guy. I'm sure there are also some dudes that sound feminine over the phone. Doesn't make much sense here though, because he knew the guy irl I think.

What? If you write something and mail it I feel fairly comfortable (assuming this wasn't just a plot device from BttF) that you can have it held and delivered at a later date.

If "she" wrote stuff prior to the season or wrote a few at once and had them delivered before games, it makes perfect sense. Not a ton of reason for him to use "creepy" in that context otherwise.
