I *AM* entertained. This story is hilarious! I love stories like this because they are just so jokes. It makes the sports world a more interesting and lulzy place because at the end of the day it's just a bunch of people playing games and we all take it too seriously.

This lightens the mood and I appreciate these kinds of stories in sports.

I think Manti is an A+ class troll and I respect him for his successful trolling here.

Doesn't Notre Dame's statement make them complicit pretty much? Or at the very least, they're covering for him.

It's 100% confirmed that he's admitted to meeting with her in person on various occasions, so wouldn't they need to verify that he's actually met with an impostor to actually prove he was getting scammed?

And if that absurd scenario was actually the case, why the hell would someone randomly change their identity to begin a new relationship? To what end?
