I don't mean that Manny's not likeable. I just think Cotto has probably been boxing's best entertainer since Arturo Gatti's prime...And he's very modest/appreciate of his fans similar to Gatti. Manny just tilts me with his extreme love of God. Besides that, he's likeable.

If the line is +150 or higher for Cotto I'm def betting him. Cotto should be alot bigger than Pac (unline DLH and Hatton who looked the same size as Pac) he hits alot harder than Hatton and DLH.

I'm picking Pac but Cotto is much much stronger than Hattan, and hes on a whole different level when it comes to boxing ability.

But speed kills in this sport, and Manny is just too dam fast.

what DLH is like 5'11....you may be referring to the weight in pictures where Manny is in sneakers and DLH is on bare feet.

DLH use to have a sick left hook, the problem is his right hand is pretty weak. Cotto is strong, versatile, but Manny's speed and power will in too much ....im picking a 9th round knockout.

I can't see Cotto answering Pacman's speed. It's not the power of the punches. It's that you never see them coming.

Cotto will definately put up a better fight than Hatton. He can actually win this fight. Although I expect Pac Man to win. It will not be a walk in the park for Pac Man. Cotto is big, strong and he hits HARD.

Comparing Cotto to Hatton is lol-worthy. Hatton is a piece of garbage and an awful fighter. Of course, now everyone thinks this, but when I posted it in the Pac-Hatton thread half the thread was like "Oh noooooooooo Hatton FTW he has only had two bad fights!" GMAFB he is terrible.

This should be an entertaining fight but Pac is going to KO him around the 9th round.

Can't knock him for losing against Margarito. Margarito had loaded gloves and was throwing bombs throughout the entire fight.

The only boxer who can give Manny trouble is Mayweather.. nobody else can 1) defend against Pacquiao's speed, and 2) has the speed themselves to land punches on Pacquiao hurting him.

Mayweather doesnt have the power to KO Manny Pacquiao but with his speed and defense I dont think Manny can score too many points against Mayweather either.. the match would go the distance and someone wins on points... the Cotto fight I think he gets KO'd somewhere around 7th.

im leaning towards pacquiao for this fight like most of the ppl ITT, but anything can really happen in boxing and miguel cotto is a very good fighter. one thing that i think may hurt his chances is the fact that the fight is at 145. i think this is a huge disadvantage for cotto just b/c i've heard his weight has ballooned to as high as 190lb when he isnt fighting.

Cotto is just so ****ing big. If he manages his weight properly (IF IF IF IF IF), he's VERY dangerous. If he can get down to 145 and retain a good amount of weight without killing himself from the cut, look out. He's a better boxer than Hatton and he's much bigger. If he shows up with 15 or more added pounds after the weigh-ins but no ill effects, look out.

However, if he either drops too much weight so that he's not much bigger than Pacman or pulls a DLH and kills himself trying to make the cut, he's probably in deep trouble. Pac is faster and more ferocious, and Cotto will need that size advantage to have a chance.
