That was the only answer that activates the scoring penalty. Our next most popular answer was played by 3 players. The Boston Red Sox media narrative of having abysmal starting pitching may have just been a product of the media hysterics surrounding that team. Eduardo Rodriguez, despite getting shelled in his last start, has been a perfectly cromulent pickup for me in fantasy, and Chris Sale just came back. The Red Sox are decidedly average at pitching, 15th in runs allowed.

The remaining incorrects are would-be ace hunters. I don't know what to make of Zack Wheeler being in the Cy Young conversation (my vote goes to Corbin Burnes), but the Philadelphia Phillies are 14th in Runs Allowed.

Also incorrect are my Atlanta Braves. Sucks about Soroka going down again, but Max Fried is looking like a bona fide ace lately, with a "Maddux" in his last start (CG shutout, <100 pitches). The Braves are 19th in Runs Allowed.

This question's SHEEP answer (which all non-Rockies incorrects will be based off of) was played by 6 players. The Baltimore Orioles got a no-hitter from John Means, but other than that, it's been pretty abysmal pitching at Camden Yards this season. The Orioles have officially allowed the most runs in MLB, with 719.

Our next most popular correct answer is the Pittsburgh Pirates, played by 4 contestants. I picked up JT Brubaker in fantasy, based off of his almost 4:1 K/BB ratio... and he's promptly gotten lit up by the Dodgers and others. Strictly a spot starter at this point, but maybe he'll develop, along with the rest of the team. Hopefully high draft picks and better days are ahead for the Buccos, as they've allowed the 4th most runs in MLB.

Question 16 closes with two aces. We know txdome is plugged into the AL West, and he was on the Texas Rangers sucking more than just about anybody else. The Rangers squeak in for this question, at 8th in most runs allowed.

Our final ace for this question is Gerrit Cole. First the Yankees were terrible, then they were awesome, so who knows where they'll end up. Through it all, Cole has been the anchor of an otherwise unimpressive rotation, with a K/9 over 12, a FIP of 2.54, and 5.2 WAR so far.

I've been madly refreshing the injury updates on rotowire, waiting for news that he might come back and lead my fantasy team to playoff glory.
