Our next incorrects are a trio of would-be 2 pointers. Let's kick it off with the defending champs, the Boston Red Sox, who got clobbered by Seattle, 12-4.

Also played by 2 people are my last place Atlanta Braves. A Rhys Hoskins grand slam off our suddenly thin-looking bullpen was the dagger as the Phillies romped in a 10-4 victory.

Our last would-be 2 pointer is the Chicago White Sox. They were vanquished by the Royals, 5-3.

There are 4 players who went ace-hunting for question 1, but just came up short. The Los Angeles Angels were shut out by Oakland, 4-0.

Our next incorrect is the St. Louis Cardinals. The NL Central race ought to be pretty interesting this year, as they lost to the reigning division winners, the Brewers.

Of the 15 games on Opening Day, only two winners were un-selected by the participants!
Here are the two unplayed corrects:
Minnesota Twins, 2-0 vs CLE
Seattle Mariners, 12-4 @ BOS

This question's SHEEP answer was played by 5 entrants. The New York Yankees have baseball's highest season win total, and they got off to a good start against the hapless Orioles, winning 7-2.

Our next most popular answer was played by 4 people. The Colorado Rockies also got a gift from the schedule-makers, and soundly defeated the moribund Miami Marlins, 6-3.

Our next corrects are a trio of 3-pointers. The Philadelphia Phillies sit atop the NL East along with UNREVEALED LOL NL EAST TEAM, after they defeated my Braves 10-4.

Also played by 3 people are those fightin' Kansas City Royals. They started somebody named Brad Keller on Opening Day, and he looked pretty good as the Royals defeated the ChiSox 5-3. Brb, gonna go check on his fantasy availability.

Our third 3-pointer is the reigning NL champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers. They got to Zack Greinke early and often, and cruised to a 12-5 victory.

Our next corrects are a quartet of 2-point answers. Shout out to Christian Yelich, who homered in his first game for my new fantasy team for this year, as the Milwaukee Brewers edged the Cardinals 5-4. Hopefully his ridiculous 2nd half from last year carries over to this year.

Our next 2-pointer are those plucky New York Mets. New acquisition Robinson Cano homered in his first at-bat with the club, and that was all the noted Destroyer of Worlds Jacob deGrom needed on Opening Day, as they shut out Scherzer and the Nationals, 2-0.

Also played by 2 people are the San Diego Padres. Playing the Giants, somebody had to win, right? They cruised to the 2-0 victory.

Our last 2-point correct was played by yours truly and one other, ruining my ace. I just thought the Cincinnati Reds might be better this year, and opening at home as they always do, they beat the Pirates 5-3.

Question 1 closes with 4 aces. Txdome went with the homer pick, AND it came in for the ace, which is the best PEEHS feeling there is! His Houston Astros defeated Tampa Bay 5-1, as Justin Verlander out-dueled Blake Snell.

Our next ace is the Oakland Athletics. They weren't opening their season yesterday, but they looked good in the home opener, as they shut out the Angels 4-0.

Our next ace is the Chicago Cubs. They handily defeated the Rangers in the only interleague game on Opening Day, 12-4. Former PEEHS champion Vilica gets off to the best possible start in 2019!

Our final ace for question 1 is the Detroit Tigers. Still 0-0 after 9 innings, they went on to beat the Blue Jays in extra innings, 2-0.
