Our next ace is a boring old veteran who must have a surprisingly stable defensive reputation according to DRS. Ian Kinsler has 6 of his last 9 full seasons at or above 11 DRS, and he's at 8 this season.

Our next ace is a guy who looks like he just may not be having fun with baseball this year. Signed to a huge deal that hamstrings his club's future, Joey Votto has legitimately played his best, but the team won't be competitive any time soon, and the tail end of his prime will be spent playing meaningless games. But he still hustles and lives up to his mega-contract, as Votto has a DRS of 8 so far this year.

Our next ace is a somewhat-exciting young player I've picked up and dropped at least 3 times over the last 2 seasons. Max Kepler is an intriguing young player who's seeing some run with the Twins this year, and he has exactly 5 defensive runs saved this year.

Our final ace is the most face-meltiest because at the start of the season, it was quite uncertain that he'd ever amass the innings needed to be correct for this question. But Nick Ahmed has found a home for the Snakes at SS, and amassed 8 defensive runs saved this season!

Our most popular incorrect answer was played by 8 entrants. The Miami Marlins are 13.5 games back in the NL East, which is tied with UNREVEALED CORRECT, who are also 13.5 back. However, the Fightin' Jeets have two more wins and two more losses, which puts their winning percentage at .418 ... just slightly better than the .415 of the basement team.
