Our next would-be 2-pointer also just missed for this question. Kyle Hendricks has flummoxed the writers at Fangraphs, as he's always outperformed his FIP without dominating strikeout stuff. Best as we can tell, he does it by a proven ability to limit hard contact, and pitches in front of a great defense. In any event, his ERA just missed for this question, as he's at 3.19 for the year.

Our final would-be 2-pointer is finally having that breakout healthy season. What's a guy got to do to get that ERA under 3 for this question? James Paxton threw a no-hitter and looks generally dominant for the surprise Mariners, but his ERA just misses at 3.13.

Our next incorrect is a former Cy Young Award winner. Says a lot about Houston's rotation that a guy with Dallas Keuchel's resume is like the 4th-best starter on the team! His ERA is 3.65.

It's good to see our next incorrect back on the mound and pitching well. The talent for Garrett Richards was never in question, just the health, as he's missed a lot of time the last 2 or 3 seasons. So far this year he's pitching to an ERA of 3.25.
