it kind of irks me when guys pull the same excuse every time they say something ******ed, like "my twitter was hacked, or my comments were taken out of context." What other context makes it acceptable for one to rip his own team mates?
How hard is it really to just own up to your comments and just say "i was upset and said something really stupid, and i regret it. I apoligized to my team mates and the organization and im ready to move on."
I applaud him for saying what a lot of his teammates have to be thinking. We all want characters and people to be honest then kill them when they are. Guessing lots of players have similar feelings about Goodell based on some of his positions on conduct off the field.
I mean, should he have said those things? Nah. Are there almost certainly other teammates, esp on D who are pissed at Ben a little? Sure.
There's a difference between being candid and being an *******.
