GB already paid their karma for that, when the Chicago Bears went 6-1-6 and the Portsmouth Spartans went 6-1-4, and both those teams played for the NFL Championship over the 10-3-1 Green Bay Packers, in 1932.
Look at it this way, the Green Bay Packers have only existed for about 10-15 years more than the Steelers. It's just that the Steelers absolutely sucked for about the first 40 years of their existence.
