I'm happy for Ben with the way Ben ended it. That Raven's win was epic and he got a nice final send off in Pittsburgh. In regards to the playoff loss I think it's fine. Some younger guys got some playoff experience under their belt.

The real issue I had was that Tomlin seemed to be playing this year as if the Steeler's were real contenders and he set that in motion when they spent their 1st round pick on a running back.

As a fan to me atleast it was quite obvious that Ben was in decline last year and he fell off a cliff in regards to arm strength this year. So much was blamed on their oline and offensive scheme but if you watched the passes where Ben actually attempted to throw over ten plus yards in the air they were noticeably less accurate than in years past and his throws lacked the zip they use to have in the past. He just wasn't ever really the same on that throwing arm after his surgery and he's just up there in age.

So in the long run I think really what was wasted this year was the chance to see if Dwayne Haskins is the answer for their future. The offense struggled to really ever get things going all season and I know Ben wasn't going to get benched or get the blame for it but it would have been nice to see what Haskins had to offer at some point this season.
