Izzo’s decisions in that game are just amazing. Let’s play Ben Carter who had 2 baskets in conference play instead of lottery pick Jaren Jackson Jr!

Izzo seemed different all year. Don't know if he knew the info in the ESPN story was coming out and going to be a huge story or just thought he had a soft team.

Bridges is the most frustrating player ever. Best athlete on the court every game and shooting fall away jump shots.

Yea your are right. Interesting to see how the toothless NCAA and BIGTEN handles it this time around.

From a Washington Post article last year.....still nothing about NCAA sanctions about Baylor. But after the cave on PSU how can you blame them. They have no balls.

"The NCAA has not leveled the “death penalty” — its harshest sanction, by which it can ban a school from competing in a sport for a full season — in a high-profile case since it shuttered SMU football in 1987. But it’s a mistake to think the organization no longer has the power or willingness to. In fact, the NCAA has shut down programs twice in the past 10 years. The problem is that it apparently prefers to shut down the Division II Morehouse College men’s soccer team for improperly signing a couple of Nigerian players, as it did in 2004 and 2005. Or the Division III MacMurray men’s tennis program over grants for foreign players, as it did in 2005 to 2007. Those are the last two schools to receive the death penalty."

Michigan State paid $500,000 to spy on Nassar victims and their families.

And why not break a couple of laws while you're in the process of trashing a victim?

Quote:
Michigan State University likely violated at least one federal student privacy law, and maybe another campus crime reporting law, when it issued a statement Wednesday detailing counseling center visits by a student who is suing the school, experts said.

But the biggest problem with the statement, those experts and other victim rights advocates said, will be its effect on future students who need counseling center services or want to report a sexual assault.

"They are sending a very clear message – don’t report and don’t sue us,” said nationally known victim rights advocate Brenda Tracy, herself a survivor of a gang rape by football players when she was in college. “I don’t know how anyone on campus would trust the university enough to go to their counseling center or to report an assault. They would just think the university is going to out them.

"It’s horrible. It goes to exactly why MSU is in trouble in the first place. It shows their culture exactly.”

A sexual assault victim of former sports doctor Larry Nassar says Michigan State interim president John Engler offered her a secret payoff to settle a lawsuit against the university.

According to Lorincz, Engler said to her, "Right now, if I wrote you a check for $250,000, would you take it?"

The way Sparty has handled this whole thing (i.e. HORRIBLY in all respects) will be a case study for years to come. The hole just gets deeper and deeper every day.
