Eh as bad as he is at the sports stuff, I think he's been better than most at the presidential elections. He was pretty clear that while Hillary was a favorite going in, there was a clear path for Trump to win if there were certain poll weighting errors correlated among different states, which is why he still had Trump at like 20-25% to win.

I think Nate's biggest problem now is not that he doesn't understand it, it's that he's basically trying to teach intermediate Stats to people who have a 5th grade intelligence level.

I like Nate and his politics stuff - like you said he was pretty much the only person saying Trump had a legit shot. That tweet with the 50/50s all over was pretty funny though
