Well, yes. In these six years, Arsenal have been bought out of the competition by Chelsea, and now Manchester City. Arsenal have the joint highest injury frequency in the league, together with Tottenham. For example, at the moment we have to play CBs on the fullbacks, as every option is injured. Wilshere, the biggest talent in English football has been out since the summer, and Diaby has played 25 minutes this season.
Against ManU, the 8-2 loss, we had to play with a midfield consisting of Coquelin, Frimpong and Rosicky. Thats a nice way for Coquelin to play his first match for the first team right?
The same happened against ManU at the OT last season, Szczesnys first minutes for the first team came in this fixture after Fabianski/Almunia(?) picked up an injury in warm up.
I see your point, Ive been spoiled with supporting such a big team, but theres no denying we have been quite unlucky the last 5 years or so.
