LOL.

Even if Kobe was healthy this year for the playoffs, it would have been pretty damn hard to get out of the stacked West.

Lebron and the Heat would have run a train on this Lakers squad.

Very difficult season to take in. I've really never seen a team play so injured in a playoff game before and it's difficult especially because our team is top heavy. Tough ending, till next season!

This.

Really, when you consider how badly the league handicaps the Lakers it's even more amazing what we do. Great job this season by Ron and Kobe but eventually you just can't overcome it. Hopefully one day they let us play on a level playing field.

Dantoni the high paced coach had to develop a new strategy which was giving it to Dwight and pau then praying they could combine for 70pts 30+ rebs.

And yeah if they were healthy I said numerous times before and believed that if they can get in 1st round against the spurs instead of okc they could get out of the west.

Kobe carries the team to the playoffs then gets injured right before they start so whatever this season was a waste of time. Can't wait till next year tho cause big changes are coming. They have to get a young point guard badly cause Nash and Blake are old and injury prone. They also need better shooters I would love to see a deal with Brandon Jennings and jj redick coming to la but that's wishful thinking.

Can't beat the Thunder in 1st round, but in Conf Finals? No problem!

The best thing about this season is we saw how effective Kobe can be as a player coach. Really, we should just retain him in that role, save the money we'd spend on a coach, and not give a **** about the luxury tax. The league will probably find a way to Chris Paul us again but to me these are exciting times. Making history.

Yeah sounds off but I think it's best for them to build confidence and momentum through the first 2 rounds. They were looking great before Kobe went down cause everyone was finally starting to fill in their roles more efficiently. Dwight was easily best big man since the all star break and pau came back from his injury playing like a point forward and it was all clicking.

Unfortunately it only lasted a few games before Kobe went down. Besides that it was their first year playing together so if Pau Kobe and Dwight stay together and they upgrade their bench and point guard they could be great next year.

This was one of my favorite Kobe seasons. Watching the old man bring it every game and will this bunch of misfits to the playoffs was something special. The pair of freethrows with a ruptured achilles is a defining moment in the GOATs career. Its hard to get too upset about the playoff exit, the Lakers simply ran out of games. See you next finals.

A thousand years from now people will talk about Kobe like we talk about Sampson or Achilles or Uncle Drew now. They won't even believe he was a real person. What he did this season was bigger than basketball.

God I love ingrate Lakerfans. That "Eurotrash" is the only reason Kobe was even relevant after 2007.

No way man. The ball movement, the fundamentals, the -18.75 point differential against the Spurs. That was some beautiful basketball.
