What an inept performance. If we don't lose a wicket tomorrow we're probably still underdogs

For the record, 10:30pm. Rain has stopped. :-D

Harris and Johnson have played most of their first class cricket here in Brisbane. They're probably lying in bed tonight, listening to the rain with big hard-ons, wondering who's going to take the most wickets tomorrow.

I love this sh*t. :-D

If England aren't bowled out tomorrow I'd be pretty surprised the way this Test is going

One of the commentators was saying that rain was predicted through the night so hopefully we get a full day tomorrow.

I'm fairly confident there wont be serious rain interruptions tomorrow.

Yeah it's a pretty good feeling knowing the battle tomorrow will be between our bowlers. Been a while since watching the Aus cricket team was a joyful experience and in the Ashes no less.

Carn Aussie!!

P.S I probably just jinxed a huge comeback.

I hope so. If this Test gets rained out I'll be seriously pee'd off.

Not going to be enough for serious interruptions.

And usually the rain comes late in the day in Brisbane in summer.

No ground in world cricket drains better than the Gabba. There can be a monsoon and play can commence half an hour after it stops

I probably should have worded that better but I meant I hope it doesn't rain for large periods over the next 2 days of play time. It can rain at night all it wants.

What do people think about Rogers? I know he's supposed to have a great first class record but apart from the one ton he's scored he just seems to suck at Test level, at least that's the way I remember it.

Rogers looks class to me. Plays the ball very late. I'd stick with him for the series.

"Our bowlers are bowling fast at the moment, England are on the back foot and it does look like they've got scared eyes," Warner said. "The way Trotty got out today was pretty poor and pretty weak, obviously there's a weakness there at the moment and we're probably on top of it."

"I think he's got to get new sledges as well because it's not working for him at the moment. Yeah he's worked hard in the nets on the short ball, we've seen him, but facing a 150kph short ball from Mitchell Johnson, the way to go is probably not trying to back away."

Just had a look at his test stats, there not as bad as I thought and his FC stats are incredible so you're probably right.

Warner is sh*tting confidence right now. The interview after his century, he basically said "Yeah, they let me play the way I want".

Agree. He looks so good... but at the end of the day he's not really converting. Average of 35 in 11 test innings. It's ok. But you want your openers averaging much closer to 50...

I'd be surprised if this was Warner's only ton through the series the way he's feeling.

I hope so. Like I said earlier, I'm really hoping that cook has let warner and clarke play themselves into some form with his fish strats this morning.

His test size sample is probably to small to worry about his avg and his FC record proves he can play it's just that at times he looks really uncomfortable at test level and doesn't really know how to play his way out of it which is weird.

Clarke never seems that far away from a big score and the way Warner's been playing the past 1-2 months I don't think it would matter what Cook did.

I just hope some the other batsman(besides Haddin) start hanging around a bit more.
