What you're not considering is Baalke's job is at risk, and it's not in his interest to draft a QB to set back the team a year or two or tank for a qb and tighten the noose, nor is it chip's call who's drafted

Niners have like, 50 mil in cap space even after Kaep's hit for 16. I doubt very seriously they aren't going to see if they can build around chip and Kaep assuming chip wants kaep

Sure but his style clearly doesn't work. The sheer number of injuries his teams have year in year out can't be overstated

But I guess the bigger point is if you're gonna bring in a new GM you can't have the same coach
