This is the first case where I actually feel bad for a coach and his stupidity. While I always want to LOL at a coach's stupidity, I feel this takes it too far.

Not reviewing the play makes 0 sense. Unfortunately, there is no way this will be topped rest of the season for most costly coaching decision. They're playing for 2nd now

It's funny that for like 10 years there was no penalty whatsoever for throwing a challenge flag, and coaches would always ******edly throw them, have the ref come over, slow down the game, etc. The NFL goes from that to lowering the boom big time.

I lost all sympathy for Schwartz though when he kicked the 47 yard FG on 3rd down. What a pussy

Throwing the flag nullifying results of the challenge is a ******ed rule, it should just be a 15 yard penalty assessed after the result of the challenge.

also, didn't part of the dustup between Harbaugh and Schwartz happen last year because Harbaugh tried challenging a play that was nonreviewable and Schwartz yelled across the field "learn the ****ing rules" or something similar. if so, it makes that challenge all the more hilarious.
