Saints have 1 Timeout, 2:49 on the clock and down by 1 point. 1st and 10 for GB. GB runs on 1st down and Saints call a timeout as the play ends with 2:44 left. GB can now run again and take it down to the two minute warning. If they didn't call their timeout, GB has to run 2 plays before the 2 minute warning and then the Saints can call timeout after the 2 minute warning and (assuming they stop them) have 4th down with 1:55 left, instead of 1:15ish.

I didn't see the end of the game but at 2-9-PHI 26 should you really be calling a play that has a chance of getting a penalty like OPI or an int or whatever? Does trying plays like that really have that much more of a positive expectation than running/throwing a screen/whatever considering you are already like ~50% to win the game from the position you're in?

The playcall on 3-19-PHI 26 is obviously terrible as is not running a play prior to attempting a FG. I am confirmed mad about the whole abortion of a drive, since for reasons I won't get into I had a small bet on NYG +1.5 and a large bet on PHI -2.5 and contrived to get middled.

icing a kicker on a prayer field goal is as bonehead as it gets.

prob good chance that kicking on 3rd down drew a safe zone coverage or whatever the madden --> nfl is. giant nit ball but wouldn't call it bonehead w/o knowing more of what ppl were saying on the sidelines.
