Never thought I'd see the day when a person seriously nominates 5 Cardinals to the Pro Bowl.

To nitpick, Wilson's not having the year he did last year, but he's still having a decent year.

You didn't include kickers and one can make an argument for Rackers. But I'm sure other NFC kickers are having equally good (or better) years.

i seriously wish they could give collective awards for the best Oline of the year...they clearly would win it in a landslide this year

I think you can make the case that the entire Giants starting O-line should be in this year's Pro Bowl.

Anyone else notice that Collins looks like Gary Cole, the guy who played Lumburg in "Office Space"?

FWIW, I'm starting to hear more and more Collins for MVP talk from journalists.

Too bad an award like that is stat oriented instead of the reality of what it should be. MVP is supposed to be the most most valuable player of his team. Meaning who would make the biggest difference if he wasn't on the team. For years this has went to the wrong guy.

I know Warner is a great passer and all but his 2 MVPs deserve to go to his RB. If Faulk wasn't there that offense isn't what it was. Although this year I can't say the same for him. He is suprising me (but then again it isn't like this is the first time you have heard of Boldin and Fitzgerald).

Take Manning (Peyton) off that team and what do they have, we can actually see what the Pats have minus Brady. So I know that he did what he did but did he really deserve MVP. I mean he basically worked with the same team prior then all of a sudden he gets a little dump me in the slot I will get mega YAC guy, and another just throw it up deep I will make sick catches in triple coverage no biggie guy, and Brady is the 2nd coming of the 3rd coming.

Look at LT, he loses his FB and aint ****.

Do I think Collins deserves MVP? Nah. I mean there are plenty of others out there making noise on their respective teams that they are more valuable. Has he been valuable for them, yes, would VY have them at 10-0, probably not but they would be at at least 7 wins and cruising to the playoffs.

This last 6 weeks of the season will be a strong tell of who the MVP really is.

It's true that Warner has Boldin/Fitz but they have been there for years now and it's not like McCown or Leinart were any good throwing to them. Warner deserves this unless he has some epic collapse. It's not even close imo. No one said don't give Manning or Brady the MVP in previous years, or Rich Gannon, etc. Saying Warner doesn't deserve it for this reason is dumb.

Is he still on pace? Brees hasn't played well like 3 straight games now iirc.

He may have fell off his pace a little bit this week but I'm pretty sure he is still in the running. Have you looked at his remaining schedule? Its pretty sweet.

GB, @TB, ATL, @ CHI, @ DET, CAR

Thats 4 dome games, 1 in warm weather, and Chicago. I think he can put up some crazy numbers in those games, he might hit it in the Det game, lol.

Pass yards given up per game by his upcoming opponents:

GB- 176
TB- 182
ATL- 226
CHI- 249
DET- 230
CAR- 185

I think its possible.

Edit: Durr, I was off on his yards he has. Its going to be tougher than I thought. He needs like 1500 yards, LOL @ me. Ignore it.

Yeah, Warner has an easier schedule vs pass defenses remaining too and is only about 100 yds behind Brees. He may not play in week 16 tho.

What is so special with week 16. They sure wont have anything sowed up as they have 2 really tough games the next 2 weeks. They might just have to play for seeding even in week 17.

The hilarious part is the idea that AZ could have the 2 seed locked up at the end of the year. Excuse me while I die laughing..

I can't see AZ getting through their remaining schedule with a better record than one of the NFCS teams. But thats for Fink's ranking thread IMO.

The Merriman rule could keep Kevin and Pat Williams out of the Pro-bowl, we should know soon.
