I love to laugh at Gruden as much as anything, but yeah he absolutely fleeced the Cowboys here. It’s not 2016 anymore and no one in their right mind would give anything more than a 3rd for Cooper.

I bet he just threw out a 1st rounder hoping to eventually negotiate down to a 2nd best case scenario and drunk Jerry Jones was just like “Yes.”

I had the impression at the press conferencing hiring that this guy did not want to come back, was half-hearted like a groom saying "WTF am I doing?" ... and it was gonna be a disaster. Not based on this start, on where he is. And how do they get out of it? 10 years. I'm saying he doesnt win a playoff game in his tenure, which will be greatly truncated. My 2 pennies.

Not sure how to take this Raider resurgence as I am on record from the day of the press conference saying the Gruden hire will be an unmitigated disaster. So, is this the start of improvement or a blip? Either way I semi-anticipated this as I bet Raiders outright as huge dog both last two weeks and almost won them both. But I don't have a good feel for if this really means anything long term. Is Gruden going to deliver? I havne't changed my position but watching closely.
