To be fair, Houston is one of the better defensive teams, Ray Rice did little and there were a couple of drops among Ravens receivers. Flacco did not play well and will have to play much better against Boston next week.

Glad ravens are happy with flacco, would suck if they realized he's awful while that defense is still elite.

That Texans D is legit BEAST though. They shut Ray Rice absolutely down. Ricky Williams started getting carries. And Flacco was pretty awful obviously but did make a couple plays he needed to. He was actually better on deep balls than anything else, which seems weird.

Texans had 5 sacks today. 2.5 from rookie lineman JJ Watt and 2.5 from rookie backer Brooks Reed. Gonna be a good team for the next 5 years.

such a dumb argument. if given a a choice, newsome and harbaugh take 10 - 15 qbs in the league ahead of flacco. does not mean flacco sucks, just given his great defense he does not have to be superelite to win.

and the ravens do have experience with super sucking qbs (see kyle boller 1st round pick.)

im sure they are somewhat happy with flacco and he is still relatively young.

but dont kid yourself he's not the reason they win. put him on a team with an average supporting cast on offense and an average defense and he probably takes the team to 8 - 8 where as the elite qb could probably take the same team to the playoffs.

Flacco reminds me a bit of Sanchize. When the team is winning, its "just win baby" but once a losing streak hits everyone looks at the qb and realizes hes not that good and really never was.
