My favorite Thome moment was the HR he hit for the White Sox in the 1 game playoff in 2008. There was a replay from a camera down the left field line that was one of the finest shots I have ever seen, just some absolutely first class camera work.
obviously when he was with cleveland he was a huge fan favorite.
then the whole, 'i'm going to stay in cleveland even if i take a bit less because i like it here' then taking a bit more to leave left a pretty bad taste. the cleveland ****ing indians went 9 figures+ for crying out loud.

I miss you, Jim Thome. We tried replacing you with Richie Sexson and Russell Branyan, but to no avail. I will now take this time to LOL Mariners once more since they took those two after we were done with them.
