My favorite Thome moment was the HR he hit for the White Sox in the 1 game playoff in 2008. There was a replay from a camera down the left field line that was one of the finest shots I have ever seen, just some absolutely first class camera work.

obviously when he was with cleveland he was a huge fan favorite.

then the whole, 'i'm going to stay in cleveland even if i take a bit less because i like it here' then taking a bit more to leave left a pretty bad taste. the cleveland ****ing indians went 9 figures+ for crying out loud.

Despite how he left, any Cleveland fan who still boos Thome is a moron.

He's going into the hall with an Indians cap on. Fans should be grateful that he contributed to the best stretch of baseball in that town since the 1950's and get over it.
