Gotta go with Johnny Gildea, 1935 Pittsburgh Pirates. 28-105 for 2 TDs and 20 INTs.
Somehow got elected to the Pro Bowl in 1938 when he was playing halfback (maybe? Wikipedia isn't clear on what position) despite recording two yards on one rushing attempt on the year. Would love to know how this even happened.
Actually looks like they called the position tailback and it was at least somewhat of a QB when he was listed at this position.
ignore first bit and skip ahead
just look at how he repeatedly threads the needle between defensive ends to find his receiver, it's truly stunning how accurately he could just bomb out perfect spirals
lost a fair chunk of change playing him in dfs figuring if he managed to plug his leaks he'd be a low owned and low priced gold mine - as you all know, that never happened
i think this is why
1. so many teams were willing to give him a chance
2. why he made so many bad decisions, just couldn't mentally adapt to the fact that there were no longer any weak links in the defense and he had to stop forcing plays but just find the actually open man and put it in a spot where the defender couldn't possibly get it but the receiver could

I feel like this merits a little more explanation.
Peterman has started 4 total games. His first start he threw 5 INTs.
Are you saying you saw that, did a deep dive on how his long ball looked, and decided to roll with him in DFS whenever he would randomly get thrown in there the next couple years?
That might be one of the more degen things Ive heard, so more power to you if so.
