TMZ broke the story 2-3 days ago:

Now ESPN has basically copy pasted the story so it has become a half-tier more legitimate.

The initial reports seem sketchy, and right now my gut instinct tells me that this leans closer to Duke lacrosse than Big Ben.

The greatest jimmy rustling tangent comes from the fact that, if found to have substance, this will vault JFF firmly into Heisman frontrunner status.

Is Jameis a monster? Is this girl looking for an easy payout? Does Saban's meta-game know no depths?

Even if the allegations are eventually not substantiated, Winston isn't winning the Heisman this year.

NFW the voters are giving it to anyone with a rape allegation hanging over their head, and there's no way they finish the investigation before the voting takes places (or before the NC game, tbh).

I think it was on 1st Take that they said him pleading the 5th legally is well within his right, but he should be aware it will hurt him in the Heisman, so he should think really hard about it.

What is the success rate of ruh roh threads not created by riverman?

I think to create a rut roh thread and the guy is found to be innocent then that is near ban worthy (not that this story doesn't have weight, just saying it's a huge allegation)

So this is getting bad for Winston and others.

Apparently she immediately reported the rape and identified Winston as the perp. At which point the detective told her not to press charges because people in town sure do love the Seminoles and do you know what you are going to put everyone through. Further, the police told the FSU fixer attorney about the incident and nobody did anything.
