sadly, this really used to be the case and it was awful. hearing Yankees Suck chants at Celtics games was the WOAT. and yes this would actually happen in 2002, etc.

but the times changed forever in 2004 (and have even more since), and the Yankees are a big rival but no longer the 800lb gorilla we'll never be able to beat or have it over us with mystical power.

now I think Yankee fans with a superiority complex are just as bad as the Red Sox fans who used to have an inferiority complex. sorry, but that's dead and gone.

I've heard Lakers fans complain about that too but at least the Celtics actually won those titles when they were in Boston. Lakers fans count some titles won in Minnesota in their grand tally which is hysterical.

As an Auburn fan this is just incredible. Hopefully they will beat FSU or at least make it an epic game. Considering where they were after last year this is free rolling. Beating UGA on that 4th and 18, beating Bama on that incredible final play, scoring 59 in the SEC title game, and having tOSU get smashed by Sparty is just amazing.
