Oh ok. Well in that case, can you pass a message on to your dad for me?

Tell him I said, "lol at you"

There wouldn't have been even one hate post if the roles were reversed between the rays and sox. And the hate makes me happy and eases the pain. So again, thanks Nutshot, this really helped.
Well if you want to say this is all jealousy borne out of a recency bias on behalf of nutshot0 (a NY sports fan) directed at Boston, you may have a point.

I'll concede that.

do you guys think goodie is in tears IRL right now or is still in furious mode after last night?

Where did you get that? I'm pretty consistent both ways. I cared deeply in 04 when life was different and I could watch games. I still care and last night still hurt. Just not nearly as much as it used to. If they had won, it would have been the same way. Sometimes actual life takes precedence over the fantasy world that is sports fandom. That's all. I never lose passion for the Pats though. Partly because I love Football so much and partly because it takes less time.

I wasn't saying i don't care as in "you guys can't hurt me because I don't care". I was just pointing out the truth. And I'm being totally serious that I love the hate. It's awesome.

I don't think he's in tears or furious. I think he was so upset that he completely shutdown emotionally and now we're seeing what remains. His heart and soul have been stripped from him and now he's just meat and bones with nothing inside.

The Bride: Bitch, you can stop right there. Just because I have no wish to murder you before the eyes of your daughter, does not mean parading her around in front of me is going to inspire sympathy. You and I have unfinished business. And not a goddamn ****in' thing you've done in the past four years, including getting knocked up, is going to change that.

I can promise you, that will never happen. Ever. I've always been a bigger pats fan. I mean the losses hurt a little less now then they did when I was a kid like you guys but they still always hurt. And I don't miss pats games. Almost without exception.

Your post with the Yankees celebrating and the helmut catch is tough to look at. I'm not gonna lie. But I truthfully did laugh at the "lol you" to my dad. That's funny stuff.

Again, this is funny. Unless I feel compelled to respond to something, I'll let you guys have your "hate Boston" thread. I'll just enjoy it from a far now.

Goodie,

I don't hate Boston. I love Boston for providing me with so many opportunities to laugh at them over the years. Read the thread title. This is a thread for joy, not for hating.

Speaking of which, here's an old favorite of mine:

And now he ends up actually being in what will be one of the more classic sports gifs (at least moment wise) of all time.

Life is ****ing amazing.
