Signing a guy the pats didn't want anymore (Solder), this usually doesn't go well for teams, and this so far has not gone well. The tate signing still *may* end up knocking out the collins comp pick. Upon doing all of that take on a bunch of dead money so getting rid of the big money contracts didn't save them a thing.
