I was playing poker at Red Rock during the Steeler-Charger lateral fiasco. I still giggle thinking about the screams coming from the sportsbook

Jonathan Mills Defensive Rebound. 79-88
0:16 Dwayne Davis missed Three Point Jumper. 79-88
0:16 79-88 Joe Jackson Defensive Rebound.
0:01 79-91 Antonio Barton made Three Point Jumper. Assisted by Chris Crawford.

I had o12.5 3 pointers made in a game, that was #13. Winning team pretty much never throws up a shot when they can dribble out the clock.

GAHHHHHH

Line is 3, they are inbounding with like 4 seconds left down 2, we can't possibly lose. Except under no pressure the guy steps on the baseline. They foul, MF hits both and we lose by 1.

Best I ever saw was about 20 years ago some guy whining about his over/under college BB bet. It was weird and must have been a game in Hawaii or something because they were playing at like 2am Pacific time. There was nearly 5 minutes left in the game when I first heard him jokingly asking if anyone wanted to buy his under bet ticket. The game score was something like 72-70 and was still one point under the total. Lol nope, gonna pass on that buying opportunity. There was not a single point scored the rest of the way and it took a while because there was a fair bit of fouling and free throws in the last half minute of the close game. The guy was bouncing off the walls in glee after the final buzzer.

Worst was the World Cup game between Germany and Brazil. Some guy had a Germany 7-0 prop bet at 500-1 on an online site (he showed people on his phone during the match. Germany destroyed Brazil and was up 7-0 late but Brazil got a meaningless goal in like the 89th minute to make it 7-1 and send his ticket down in flames.

SVP has a pretty good bad beat section on his show I saw last night - here's a few games from this week from college football - really crazy.

This one happened to a friend:

Had Pacific +10.5 or something vs. BC in the NCAA Tournament. Pacific was in control for most of the 2nd half but BC comes back to send it into overtime. BC eventually won by 12 in 2OT.

The famous Duhon last second meaningless half-courter cost me a handful of parlays. That was fun.

SVP last year had some tiny college game where the over/under was 62. One team hit a FG as time expired to tie the score 17-17. After stupid college overtime after stupid college overtime the under ended up losing.
