Chiefs are gonna have to exorcise some demons at some point with the pats Steelers colts (?)...I’m pretty scared but the thought of Mahomes for a decade plus eases the pain. Things can change quick but I don’t see how the chiefs don’t make the playoffs like every year the next ten or so . I guess Seattle and Green Bay fans prob thought similarly but whatever. Get the tough losses out of the way

Tampa has a game last week where they got 50 yards more than the rams got today and scored 3 points. Seems impossible

I only remember the game because Montana had a career game but any big play was called back for O holding. I think Markbreit's crew was working the game, so that pretty much explains it.

I was rooting for the rams but really hoped mcvays recklessness with his timeouts got him. Defense should matter and it just didn't. These qbs and wide receivers are really not near as good as the points and yards they are putting up. It's kinda ridiculous.

Game was awesome though

Oh and those pussy screen passes on 3rd and 10 late in the game when you are straight raping the other team on crossing routes and deep ins were unreal. Looking at you mcvay

Crazy game. I honestly didn't think LA fans could get that loud. It was awesome though when they got quiet at the end. Until they got loud again.

I really thought Mahomes was gonna seal it when we got the ball back with 1:50 and 3 TOs. And now I'm fantasizing about if Ron Parker had turned that pass into a pick 6 w/a minute left.

Was 16 pts ahead of my fantasy football opponent who still had Gurley and Watkins playing last night. When I checked the result this morning I was like "WTF. That went well." Then I checked the individual stats and somehow both didnt manage to get the missing points. 2nd week in a row that my opponent had a elite RB left to get the missing points and 2nd week in a row the rb missed. Last week it was Barkley for the Giants.

That last drive was totally unacceptable. Throwing 5 yard dumpoffs in bounds just so terrible. I will never believe an Andy Reid team can be competent at end game.

That wasn't the designed play but Reid needs to let Mahomes know to throw it away if he doesn't have a play that will go for 20+.

This. He's still basically a rookie. He will learn and grow from this.

Most of the Chiefs pundits I'm listening to and reading seem relatively upbeat about this game. Huge learning experience and as close to a Superbowl atmosphere as you're going to get in the regular season. Defense actually got some stops in the 3rd Q.

We're still in the driver's seat for HFA. 13-3 most likely brings it home.

The biggest difference to me in the game was the Rams consistently brought pressure - which threw Mahomie off his game. While the Chiefs let Goff sit in a clean pocket for a long time way too often.

Finally watching the broadcast of the game. Rams get the ball back with 2:50 and Witten says "this is it, you're not gonna get the ball back". And then there are 5 more possessions from that point.
