We could use another Chilly-type thread "Post a better QB than Sanchez"

I watch Jets games for comedy now. That ending last night was surreal, despite throwing 4 INTs, the Jets still have a chance to win after a shanked punt that puts them almost immediately into a scoring position only to fumble a shotgun snap to end the game.

I don't know **** about the NFL

Can someone tell me if this (whatever happened) increases the chances I see Tim Tebow play the QB position?

I'm sure people have already flamed you plenty but I had to chime in. So, what you're saying is that Mark Sanchez is a better QB than Alex Smith?

Really?

Tebow or the Bama kid will start next week for sure

Sanchez signed a huge extension this summer with $20 mil guaranteed so we can't cut him. We're stuck with him for at least another year.

Cutting sanchez would mean like $17 mil in dead money and we'd lose $4mil in cap space. He's gonna be on the roster for 2013, hopefully as a backup.

Tebow will carry the Jets to playoffs next year, it's so bound to happen

People saying he'll never take another snap have not been paying attention. He's been this bad all season and they keep trotting him out there. The last thing they want is for Tebow to succeed. He's going to keep playing.

it really is just tebow. if tebow wasnt the back up, sanchize would have been gone like 5 games ago.

I bet McElroy starts next week.

Rex won't want to start Tebow and have the ensuing local buzz about him after going 8/21 and winning 6-3. It will make it look like hitching his wagon to Sanchez this season was "way, way wrong" instead of probably just "wrong". Don't think that happens even if McElroy does well his last 2 games.

We really are blessed to have lived through the Sanchize era. Terrible QBs come and go multiple times a year, but ones who bring so much joy and cheer via absolutely brain dead mistakes week after week after week only happen once every generation or so. Really, he could be fixing games, would anyone know the difference?

For me, having a bad team isn't just about having a terrible W-L record. Only to have their team's hopes dashed due to some spectacular lol-worthy failure.

There is only one QB who can deliver the lolz as often as he delivers the failure. Not only will he lead my team to nothing but futility, but he will do it in a way that makes it like a train wreck that you can't look away from.

My Franchise QB encapsulated in 2 gifs.

The Southern California Bred, Kate Upton datin, GQ wearin, wheelin, dealin, son of a gun

Mark Sanchez

Like seriously, just look at this *******. While other teams will mettle away in our league languishing in their own boring futility, Sanchez finds ways to fail spectacularly. With a big stage, Sanchez never fails to deliver the lolz.

"But does he actually suck at football?"

Oh my yes he does. Career high for a season, out of any season he's ever had: 56.7% Completions, 5.38 ANY/A. He proved he could be an ok game manager. When he's relied on to do anything but hand the ball off, he is pitiful. And by the above gif, he can't even do that correctly.

I will hire Fireman Ed to be my #1 Sanchez lover and #1 Franchise fan to post on 2p2 for me.

Your move, Assani.

Team so far:

QB Mark Sanchez

Good night, sweet prince.

He shouldn't, but I thought this after that cluster**** with Arizona when McElroy came in and won it for them.

Not sure how he kept the starting job after that game.

Dan Snyder can flip his entire legacy in 12 months here.

Trades up huge for RG3, drafts Cousins despite criticism. Flips Cousins for tons of picks 1 year later, builds dynasty.
