So from 0.2% to like 1%?

No one is gonna give you 100 to 1.

Only projected for 216 right now, but he is still capable of doing it. I do give him credit for only sitting 1 game this year, unlike the other frauds on that team who were also competing for the record.

Who the hell still cares about strikeouts?

Stanton is 6th in MLB in HR, 10th in total bases, and has 6 4+ hit games.

He's no Joey Gallo.

Productive things like advancing a runner, or forcing "errors" can happen when the ball is hit fairly, especially towards people like Gallo whose only skill is swing bat hard.

Yeah no **** stuff "can" happen if you put the ball in play.

But unless you'd rather have Yulieski Gurriel than Giancarlo Stanton, GTFO with this.

Yuli has $18mil left on his contract and will most likely be productive for those 2 years. Jim Carrey Stanton- Yikes!

I hate the slap hitting Yuli does btw, but it is working. Although, Ichiro is one of my favorite players, but he had other awesome skills too.

Nobody is saying they'd rather have Gurriel than Stanton. It's just hilarious that this thread was made after one game and he's nowhere near the home run record but almost on pace for the strikeout record.

The thread isn't GIANCARLO GOOD SEASON WATCH

Just because Judge is finally back in the lineup, I looked up Jimcarro. He is exactly half way to 74 with less than 2 weeks to play. Who knows if he'll get there? He is still truckin toward the strikeout record. 199ks now, on pace for 216. I think he can still get to 226 or whatever the record is. Letsgo!
